This is for those who love to explore, a round trip day flirts with a 6 mile hike. Explore one of Michigan's finest rivers. These are back-pack required trips, you must be in Good physical shape, Experienced in walking rough terrain, and Wading challenging crossings. You pack in your lunch & drinks, I will provide the Snacks, Rods, Reels, Flies, 1 on 1 guide to angler work, casting instructions, and river crossing assistance. These trips start well before day light, so headlights or flash lights are required during early morning hours. Guided time starts once we get good daylight, this normally happens around 7 AM.

At the end of 2011 Steelhead season I couldn't believe the mass numbers of Carp running up the river to spawn & eat Steelhead eggs. It's no wonder the Steelhead runs have been smaller then in years past.
As a Conservationist, I feel compeled to help control these invasive spieces. Therefor, the Carp fishing outings will be a kill-All caught outing. Join us in our efforts to protect the young Steelhead from these egg-robbing bottom feeders!!

Saginaw Bay Hunts
$200 per person
Due to travel distance from G.R. to Saginaw Bay we require 4 hunters /day to book these hunts. Multiple day outings are strongly encouraged for hunting Saginaw Bay. Because of the spectacular waterfowl hunting that takes place on the bay we will hunt from daylight to dark. A single day structure for a Saginaw Bay hunt will consist of a morning hunt until 11:00 AM then back to lodging for a grilled lunch. Once lunch is over we will regroup and replenish ammo for an afternoon hunt unless bag limit is reached during morning hours.
*** Ample lead time of 2 weeks is required in order to secure lodging. Hunters are responsible for breakfast and dinner costs. ***
Blast 'N' Cast October

Morning hunt for Ducks until 10:30 am. Then back to the launch for a great grilled shore lunch. Once lunch is over we head off to the Mighty Muskegon River to Fly-Fish for Salmon.

If you've ever been waterfowl hunting you know that the Coots can gather in mass groups of 1500 to 4000 birds per flock. We know all to well the frustration these birds can bring to every Waterfowler. With the numbers these birds can build to on a given lake makes decoying any other birds almost impossible.
It's time that we do our part as hunters and conservationist to try an thin these numbers down to a more respectable number. We have been granted liberal limits on these birds by the MI DNR in hopes of helping control these out of control species.
