| I want to first thank you and Dave for a great duck hunting experience that you provided for me and my son Abe this fall. It was one of the greatest father and son experiences we have done together. You and Dave were outstanding from communication to lunch and putting us on birds. Last year I went on two duck hunts with Ryan and Dave. I am a novice duck hunter, but that did not matter. Ryan took care of everything, from staking out a spot hours before sunrise, to cooking lunch, calling and identifying the ducks and calling the shots. We enjoyed the first trip so much that my buddy and I signed up for another hunt. Try him, you'll like him.

Ryan Cote is a very professional guide with strong ethical values while pursuing the wildlife of Michigan. I've never hunted with anyone who is more knowledgeable about duck hunting in Michigan (east and west side). He is very accommodating, professional, polite, safety conscious and easy to be with on a hunt. He puts out a great decoy spread; he is an amazing duck-call "operator" and has a great young Labrador retriever. It would have been nice to hook up with some more fish, but like they say, "A bad day fishing is still better than a good day at work" : ) I've fished for a lot of things and have always heard great things about the steelhead/salmon runs so I'm glad we gave it a shot. On the way back we didn't count as many fish as we caught as we did the ducks, geese, GB Herons, Eagles, Osprey, woodchucks, muskrats, swans, etc that we saw on the Muskegon river. Battle Creek, MI We found that Ryan is extremely professional and courteous on top of having the expertise knowledge of the waterfowl habits and migration. The grilled hot shore lunch was just what you wanted on a cold wet day. An added bonus is he put us on the ducks when no one else could.
